The conference brought together philanthropists, religious leaders from various faiths, civil society representatives, students, and people from diverse walks of life. The Deputy Consul General of China in Lahore, Mr. Cao Ke, and Vice Consul General Mr. Wang Yaqiangattended as chief guests. Prominent dignitaries including Khalid Abbas Dar (Director, Sundas Foundation), Dr. Raghib Naeemi (Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology), Prof. Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad (Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore), Ms. Uzma Kardar (Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab), Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Allama Muhammad Sibtain Akbar, Pastor Alexander Javed, Hindu leader Pandit Ratan Lal, and Sikh leader Sardar Jagjeet Singh highlighted the spirit of compassion, charity, and communal service that unites all faiths.
The dignitaries also shed light on the critical need for blood donations in Pakistan, stating that over 300,000 blood bags are required each month nationwide. They jointly affirmed that when it comes to saving lives, religious boundaries disappear. They described blood donation as a noble act, a form of continuing charity (sadaqah jariyah), and a true humanitarian responsibility. Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Founder and President of Sundas Foundation, shared that the organization, established in 1998, runs 12 centers nationwide, offering quality treatment across Pakistan and providing free blood to patients with thalassemia, hemophilia, and other serious blood disorders. He called blood donation a gift of life and urged citizens to support this vital cause. Letters of Appreciation were presented to social activists, youth leaders, and academicians.
Wajahat Ali (Social Activist) and Tehseen-ul-Qadri (Media Professional) appealed to the youth to come forward and donate blood to save precious human lives. Later, religious leaders reiterated the urgent need for interfaith harmony, tolerance, and unity in Pakistan. They emphasized that true service to humanity rises above all religious and social differences, and blood donation stands as a powerful symbol of that shared commitment.
