Christian Youth Punjab University Hosts Interfaith Aftaar & Resurrection Dinner Lahore, Pakistan — Christian Youth Punjab University (CYPU) organized an Interfaith Aftaar and Resurrection Dinner for Punjab University students, promoting unity, faith, and mutual respect among diverse communities. The event was honored by Dr. Herman Roger (Head of the Department of Religious and Philosophy) and Allama Asghar Arif Chishti (Chairman Pakistan Sunni Ulema Forum & President Peace Committee Supreme Council Pakistan). Both appreciated the efforts of Adish Gill, Founder and Chairman CYPU, and his team. Allama Chishti highlighted the importance of interfaith harmony for youth and Pakistan’s peaceful future, while Dr. Roger shared a message on Resurrection, faith, and spiritual growth. Adish Gill thanked the chief guests for their presence and acknowledged his team for their dedication, including Shahid Rasheed (President), Mahak Masih (Vice President), Yashawa Chodhary (General Secretary), Nazim Mushtaq (Joint Secretary), Sylvia Angel (Finance Secretary), Annela George (Information Secretary), Ozam Roger (Event Manager), Kalish Masih, Damees Masih, Tahmina Tarfosa, Rameez Mashi, and all CYPU members. The event brought together students from different religious backgrounds, fostering dialogue, understanding, and unity. CYPU remains committed to promoting interfaith harmony and empowering youth through faith-based initiatives.
