National Common Youth Agenda Consultation Held in Lahore | Minhaj Youth League,

Lahore, July 13, 2026: A significant consultative meeting on the "National Common Youth Agenda" was organized by Minhaj Youth League and Aghosh Community Club at the Central Secretariat, Model Town, Lahore. The meeting brought together representatives from more than 25 youth organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), educational institutions, and young education experts from across Pakistan.The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen collaboration among youth organizations, establish a unified national youth platform, and formulate a collective strategy on national priorities concerning young people.The session commenced with welcoming remarks by Muhammad Azam, Vice President of Aghosh Community Club. He welcomed the distinguished guests and participants, emphasizing that strong institutional collaboration and meaningful partnerships are essential to harness the potential of Pakistan's youth for national development. He expressed confidence that the consultative session would lay the foundation for a strong and effective national youth network.Addressing the gathering, Rana Waheed Shehzad, Central President of Minhaj Youth League, stated that since a significant proportion of Pakistan's population consists of young people, their role is vital in national development, social stability, and preparing future leadership. He explained that the National Common Youth Agenda aims to unite youth organizations, educational institutions, and civil society organizations under a shared national vision to effectively utilize the capabilities of Pakistan's youth.He further remarked that the educational, social, and economic challenges facing young people can only be addressed through collective thinking, mutual cooperation, and a coordinated strategy. He stressed that the time has come for all youth organizations to work together in the national interest, promote social service, and advance the welfare of young people.During the meeting, participants held detailed, constructive, and positive discussions on various aspects of the National Common Youth Agenda. Representatives from different organizations presented recommendations on youth participation in policymaking, volunteerism, social welfare, educational reforms, leadership development, environmental protection, digital skills development, and institutional collaboration.The participants emphasized that a unified platform is essential for ensuring effective youth representation, strengthening coordination among organizations, and promoting integrated planning at the national level.At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives of all participating organizations and institutions unanimously announced their principled support for the establishment of the National Common Youth Agenda. They pledged their full cooperation, continuous engagement, and joint efforts to make the platform active, effective, and truly representative.The participants also agreed that sustained collaboration, continuous dialogue, and coordinated planning are essential to securing a brighter future for Pakistan, fostering positive youth development, and achieving the country's national development goals.Photo Caption:
