Dr. Sundus Basharat Ahmad, General Secretary, Centre for Alternative Perspectives (CAP), accompanied by Atif Iqbal Khan (Director IT), Wajahat Ali (Director Community Engagement – Lahore & Islamabad), and Muhammad Azam (Member CAP | Founding Member & Vice President, Aghosh Community Club), visited Aghosh Orphan Care Homes to explore and strengthen collaborative frameworks under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). During the visit, the delegation met with the Director of Aghosh Orphan Care Homes, Col. (R) Mubashir Iqbal, to discuss avenues for social work and community development.
The interaction focused on sustainable initiatives for the well-being, education, and holistic development of the children, while also providing insights into the orphanage’s operational model and reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in addressing social challenges and promoting dialogue for peace. CAP was also received appreciatively and presented with commemorative souvenirs by Aghosh Orphan Care Homes in recognition of the visit and engagement. Tehseen Al-Qadri (Managing Editor, Youth International E-Magazine) and Kinza Waheed (Reporter, Youth International E-Magazine) expressed their commitment to supporting and promoting positive social initiatives.
